Even though Šibenik’s area is mostly summer destination thanks to their numerous fortress and landmarks and beautiful beaches, Šibenik’s area has seen lately as one of the best places to spend Christmas time in Croatia. It all started couple years ago with a small Christmas market in Šibenik park called “Adventura”. At first “Adventura” didn’t have many visitors but year after year it kept getting bigger and better. Today it is one of the most liked Christmas market in whole Croatia that leaves no one without positive impression. From Šibenik’s Christmas market it spreads at neighboring city’s and places and today we have winter magic at sea that casts on whole Šibenik-Knin county.
Betina Christmas Market

Why we love it: Shipbuilding in Betina has existed for over 270 years and it is home to one oldest center of skillful shipbuilders. Betina stills honors its shipbuilding tradition so they decorated their gajeta wooden ships looking as beautiful Christmas trees.
Šibenik’s Christmas Market – “Adventura”
