Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board, Kristjan Staničić, added:
“It is with great pleasure that we received the news that Croatia has been declared one of the best countries in the world in 2020. After taking the leading position in the Mediterranean this season, according to Eurostat data, this is an additional confirmation of the safe and stable position that our country enjoys on the international market. The United Kingdom is one of the most important markets for Croatian tourism and I believe that with the stabilisation of the situation, our faithful British guests will return to Croatia in greater numbers.”
